Role Summary:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating art and media for marketing materials, brand/style guides, web projects, and consumer product packaging. You will be expected to demonstrate strong layout and graphic organization skills, confidence in font selections and pairing, and a trained eye for color, aesthetics, and current visual treads, but also demonstrate the ability to follow a style guide. You will work closely with the Creative Director and the Marketing Director on a variety of digital and physical projects. Creativity and self-motivation are a must and much of the design work will be on your own, however, your ability to work together with the team will be required as well. Providing consistent, accurate, and timely communication with colleagues and/or supervisors is also a must.

Job Responsibilities are as followed but NOT limited to:

• Translate project needs and strategies into functional and attractive designs
• Create visual concepts using graphic design software
• Adhere to brand guidelines and use approved brand assets when applicable
• Select colors, fonts, photographs, illustrations, layouts, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts and direction
• Articulate and pitch design concepts to marketing and design leadership
• Manage time allotment for each given project and meet expected timelines
• Work individually and with little oversight

Required Experience and Skills:

• Professional proficiency in graphic design software
• Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
• Demonstrated portfolio showing creative maturity and design software skills
• Ability to critically evaluate design choices that coincide with the project’s perspective and goals
• Ability to communicate clearly and problem solve
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, including multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to work within a collaborative and team-focused environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
